Walker German Brown Tape - Straight Strips (36/pkt)

Walker Tape® German Brown straight tape strips provide a firm, extended-wear bond for poly (polyurethane) hair systems, with 1–2 weeks of wear and low adhesive residue for easier cleanup.

Each packet contains 36 straight strips. Choose from 1/2 inch × 3 inches, 3/4 inch × 3 inches, or 1 inch × 3 inches.

German Brown is Walker Tape’s firmest tape for use with hard bond adhesives. It acts as a protective barrier between the hard bond adhesive and the hair system, preventing direct contact with the system. It can also be used for regular system bonding without a hard bond adhesive.

Contains latex. Do not use if you have a latex allergy or sensitivity. Perform a patch test before use.

Prepare for installation

1. Clean the hair system and natural hair with Bond Breaker Shampoo, then let dry.
2. Apply 99% Alcohol to the scalp and the base of the system. Allow it to evaporate completely.
3. Apply Max Hold Sport or Scalp Protector to the scalp to help support the bond and protect the skin.

Apply the straight strips

1. Peel off the liner scored down the middle.
2. Place the adhesive side toward the hair system. Avoid touching the adhesive.
3. Position the strip where desired on the system. Repeat as needed.
4. When ready to attach the system to the scalp, peel off the remaining printed liner pieces. For extra positioning time, spray Just-Rite Positioning Spray over the adhesive area.
5. Press the hair system firmly onto the scalp, taking care not to move it during application.

When using German Brown with a hard bond adhesive, follow the adhesive manufacturer’s application instructions.
